Sacred Hawaiian Hula Dance
Tues 10 AM - 11:45 & Thurs 10 AM -noon
Thursday classes are basics, beginner level
Arrive 10 AM to greet and change clothes. Practice starts at 10:15 with Oli Aloha (chant)
Hula is a meditation-in-motion. It is the bodily expression of ALOHA: living a life of kindness and tenderness, unity and harmony, honesty and humility, patience and perseverance. This movement is as soothing for the soul as it is a discipline for the body. Gentle and supportive for mature dancers as well. No experience necessary.
Come watch. It is common in the Hawaiian islands to share hula with the community by inviting anyone to share the aloha.
